Six of us of 61 ventured forth in December 06 on trip to Costa Rica organized by Judy and Andy Larsen (and their Riveredge Nature Center in Wisconsin) to visit some of their favorite haunts in the rain forests, mountains and seaside of Costa Rica. A highlight of the trip was our visit to Tirimbina Rainforest Educational Center which Andy had a major role in developing through the 1990s. Incredible diversity of flora and fauna! We learned also about the changing forest and changing economy which challenge the health and sustenance of these communities.
