"I've been enjoying retirement since June 1996 after practicing plastic surgery for 21 years in Wilmington, NC.  Dorene and I are currently in the middle of a ten-year plan to hike the entire Appalachian Trail, Georgia to Maine. This summer we completed 1100 miles, so halfway there.  Still continuing to qualify as a licensed battlefield guide at Gettysburg. It's a long process, but am getting closer."
