Mini Reunion North Carolina -- how it should be done

Enroute to a bicycle ride in North Carolina, Dave McKercher stays at Charlie Olson's house.  The highlight was a flight in Charlie's plane to Winston-Salem, where we pick up Dan Pearson.  Then off to Mountain Air, a golf resort in the mountains of Western North Carolina.  The runway is a swath cut right across the top of the mountain. The landing strip even goes uphill to ensure a complete stop before rolling off the other side.  Not a problem with Charlie's expert piloting.

We play a round of golf on an absolutely spectacular course with mountain views in all directions.  Some holes drop 400 feet -- tee to green.  The ball stays airborne forever.

Then an elegant lunch and the flight back home.  Minis should all be so much fun.  Check out the pictures.
